Pastor Joel Osteen

Pastor Joel Osteen is currently the pastor of America�s largest church, Lakewood Church, located in Houston, Texas. Like David in the Bible,he is the youngest of four children. He has an older brother, Paul, and two older sisters, Lisa and April.
The Father of Pastor Joel Osteen, John with his wife Dodie, founded Lakewood Church on Mother's Day 1959. In 1999 John Osteen died and as it were the story of Pastor Joel began. God as it were pushed him from obscurity to the limelight. When God has a plan for your life, He does not come at your timing but at His timing which is always the best.

Many People were wondering wether he would be upto the task but when God is on your side, who can be against you? (Romans 8:31). It may suffice to note that he is the senior pastor to this 30,000 members of Lakewood Church, the largest church in America according to Forbes and Outreach(2004).
Also his No. 1 rated inspirational television program by Nielson Media Research is seen worldwide in 100 million households on ABC Family, BET, PAX, and CNBC while reaching as far as Europe and Australia, among others. God has blessed Pastor Osteen with the ability to deliver a message with such an ease and a sense of humor till all those that view him call him the smiling pastor. His accent, his email introductions, his stage presence, his sincerity, his real-life situations are just a few ways that will make him to continue to be embraced as a God given Pastor. Victoria Osteen has stood by him and supported him greatly.
