FAMILY DEVOTIONALS - BUILDING THE HOME.

Moments with God, seasoned by devotion time, are what I see as what will bring alive a decaying institution. Devotionals are geared at strengthening the family. The Bible is in the center and Jesus is the one that is being glorified in them as He glorifies the Father.
The Family, that is,a father, a mother, children are Gods will. The Family is God ordained. Family devotionals will therefore enhance the family institution which dates as far back as when God created man. Family Devotions that we advocate for are those that have the Bible as their basis because the Bible which I refer to as the Word of God, mentions this in Genesis 2:18 The Lord God said "It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him". In Genesis 2:21-25 God causes man to have a deep sleep and while asleep God gets one of the ribs from which He, The Master Creator, gets the woman Adam wakes up from the sleep and says "this is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh of flesh" God had already releases the blessing. Genesis 1:28 "Be fruitful and multiply" From the onset of creation we see the importance of the family unit. It is God ordained.God's opinion in this regard cannot be diluted by any other explanation. That is why His voice echoes throughout the Bible saying:

Children obey your Father and Mother No divorce.What He has joined together let no man put asunder.InfactHis Word and compares Jesus Christ relationship to the Church as the Bride and the groom Rev 21:9, Rev 22:17 Mathew 25:1, Jeremiah 31:1 God declares himself as God of all families. He is Our God, The God of Our Children, Our God.It is with this that the devil, a cast away angel from heaven, plans, devices and schemes to attack the institution of marriage. Here in America gays and lesbians are opposing the family institution and want to have their rights as other is the normal family institution This is bluntly saying �God I do not agree with your plan for mankind, I have a better Plan�. This is the same spirit that was in the devil in Isaiah 14:9-17 when he thought of himself higher than Adonai; the Lord God Our Creator. Lucifer said in his heart �. " an evil thought I will exalt my throne above the stars of God". Opposition is not just by those voices of dissent to the marriage institution but even the praying to God in the schools has been abolished. Schools are being saturated with curriculums with books that advocate witchcraft such as the harry potter series. Attacks are coming from all directions and its only the family that is grounded, on a good solid foundation that will stand.

Family Devotionals are written to encourage the reading of The WORD.The WORD of God,Christ, being the Center of Our Foundation. The song writer sang and said "On Christ, the Solid Rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand".Share the Word of God with your family. The Word of the Lord says "Teach a child in the way that they should go and when they are old they will not depart from it" Remember, faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God Don�t mind the frequency, repeat it over and over again.Read the Word in the Morning as part of your morning devotion, live the Word and God who honors His Word will cause you to be grounded like never before.
