TRUE LOYALTY

And Ittai answered the king, and said, As the LORD lives, and as my lord the king lives, surely in what place my lord the king shall be, whether in death or life, even there also will thy servant be. 2nd Samuel 15:21

King David was running away from Jerusalem. A coup was in the making. He had lost hope. His servants had the option to go with him or remain and serve his son, Absalom who was the one perpetrating the insurgence.

The Loyalty exhibited by his servants is great. This is what God, Our Precious Lord, expects of us; loyalty, commitment and trustworthiness. Purpose to enhance your commitment to the Lord.

Let us pray..
God, help renew my commitment, my zeal for you. Cause me never to leave you whatever the circumstance. Cause me to stand out for you in both the good and the challenging times. Cause me to follow you with all my heart, my mind, my strength and all that is within me in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
