What is a christian response to such stagerring numbers? Prayer. I am a firm believer that prayer, our means of communicating to God will enable us tackle this HIV/AIDs monster.

Specific HIV | AIDs | Prayer Points

Friend, let us use these prayer points as we pray for the HIV/AIDs patients. Our God is more than able to heal or deliver the worst of the cases. Nothing is too hard for Him. He is The Miracle Worker, The Balm of Gilead, Our Healer, Jehovah Rapha, The Great Physician and above all a Friend who sticks closer than any other brother.
If you have a friend or you are suffering from HIV or Aids, do not give up. The Bible says Jesus brought Lazurus from the dead - you are still alive. He who made you in your mothers womb is still able to make you whole.

Prayer Points

1) Let us ask God to give each one of us wisdom as we pray.
James 1:5, Proverbs 4

2) Let us ask God to bring healing to all those affected. Let us ask that the spirit of self condemnation and hopelessness be destroyed in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Proverbs 23:18, Jeremiah 30:17

3) Let us pray that God will give Wisdom to the Scientist and all those engaged in the search for a cure. Exodus 28:3

4) Let us pray that every believer shall be preserved from this HIV/AID. We declare no accidents and that God will remain a Shield and a Buckler to evry believer in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Deuteronomy 7:15

5) Let us remind God of His name, "Jehovah Rapha". The LORD God that heals us. Friend, at His command, viruses die and where there is death, life is restored. He is The Life Giver. In Philippians 2:9-10, the Bible says "Therefore God has exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the Glory of God the Father". This tells us that whatever name the sickness is known by, HIV/AIDS, Cancer, etc all will bow at the Name of King Jesus. Healing can be received by trusting in the Wonderful Name of Jesus. Yes, He is in the business of health restoration.

Prayer

Loving God, you alone knows the end from the begining. We lift up all these HIV/AIDS patients to you. God, where there is pain we ask please remove it, where there is despair God grant them new hope and Father let them never doubt your power to save and heal. God we pray for those involved in the discovery of treatment that God you will fill them with Wisdom and that God you will give them a breakthrough in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Lord, the families of the patients, protect them and give them patience and strength. God provide finances to fund the discovery endeavours and also to the patients for their medicines. God let your will, perfect health, be the portion of these dear ones in Jesus Powerful Name, Amen.
