Pastor Benny Hinn

Salvation

Pastor Benny Hinn was born in Israel to Greek Armenian parents. His family relocated to Canada in 1967. Pastor Benny Hinn accepted The Lord Jesus as His Lord and Saviour through the ministry of Merv and Merla Watson in Toronto. Merv and Merla Watson are pioneers in the Messianic sound. They coincidentally also began their musical journey in 1967. They are co-founders of the Christian Embassy in Jerusalem, with representation in over 100 countries, they started the feast of Tabernacles which is attended by 5000 people annually. Their famous songs include, "Awake O Israel", "Jehovah Jireh", and "He that Keepeth Israel" are translated into many Languages world wide. During a Kathryn Kuhlman evangelistic outreach in 1973, Benny experienced a powerful visitation of the Holy Spirit that transformed his life totally. This was the turning point of his ministry.

Marriage

In the summer of 1978, on a flight returning from a conference in Singapore, Benny Hinn met Roy Harthern, an Englishman who was pastoring the Calvary Assembly of God in Orlando, Florida. They got to know one another on the long flight. Roy showed Benny pictures of his family. When he came to the photo of Roy's daughter, Suzanne, Benny heard a voice inside him saying, “She's going to be your wife.”
Roy Harthern invited Pastor Benny Hinn to come to his home for Christmas, he accepted. When he met Suzanne, Benny remembers jokingly, “I looked into her beautiful bluish-green eyes and my knees became weak”. When his friend Maxine LaDuke met Suzanne, she took Benny aside and confirmed that this was his wife.
Benny knew she was the one. He took Pauline Harthern aside to "ask her something." Pauline thought he wanted to ask her permission to date Suzanne, but instead, he said "I want to marry Suzanne; I am in love with her.” "Well, well," Pauline replied, "you really need to speak to her father." When Roy gave his approval, Benny Hinn immediately went to find Suzanne. Suzanne accepted and Pastor Benny Hinn and Suzanne tied the knot on August 4, 1979.

The Ministry

Pastor Benny Hinn has the gifts of faith,healing and working of miracles operating in his life. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 12:6-9 "And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will."

Friend, let us pray for Pastor benny Hinn. Father, thank you for this dear servant that you have given to our generation. Dear Lord, we ask that you protect and keep him. Let him remain true to your calling. Help him close his ears and eyes to those that falsely accuse him. Father annoint him even more, give him a greater revelation of your Word. Increase the healings in his ministry, help him to walk in even greater faith. Father keep and protect his family and let your face shine upon them. Let his ministry blossom in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Every weapon raised against Pastor Benny Hinn, Lord we destroy it and every toungue raised against him we confound it in jesus Mighty Name, Amen. We decree a blessing upon his ministry and the work of his hands. We declare so as the redeemed of the Lord in Jesus Faithful name, Amen.
